The Department of Radiology provides diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services for patients and families in Iowa and surrounding states. The department is actively involved in research into new diagnostic and treatment modalities, including clinical research projects in most areas of imaging. We also offer new and sophisticated techniques in cancer imaging and innovative techniques for imaging and treating patients with vascular disease.

Teleradiology & Peer Review
The Department of Radiology offers 24/7 teleradiology services for hospitals and medical groups. Radiology also offers peer review services to assess radiologist competencies within all radiology subspecialty areas, including neuroradiology, head and neck, neurointerventional, breast, pediatric, musculoskeletal, chest, interventional, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, PET, ultrasound, CT and MRI.
