The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence offers a comprehensive evaluation of patients with breast diseases and symptoms using the most advanced technologies and techniques including:
- Digital mammography
- State-of-the-art tomosynthesis mammography (3D imaging)
- Breast ultrasound
- Whole breast ultrasound (ABUS)
- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Percutaneous biopsy, including stereotactic and ultrasound and MRI guidance
- Radioactive Seed Localization
The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence is fully accredited by the Iowa State Department of Public Health, the American College of Radiology (ACR), and is an ACR designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center.
