Dr. Park obtained his BA degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley. He then completed both his MD and PhD degrees at the University of Southern California studying a specific tumor associated protein called HER-2 in breast, ovarian, and stomach cancer and developing an antibody against this cancer protein for future diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. After completing an internship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, he went on to complete his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at UCLA Medical Center and was an NIH-sponsored fellow in Abdominal Cancer Imaging at Stanford University Medical Center.
Dr. Park brings with him a wealth of experience and a new perspective for the Division and our Department. Welcome, Dr. Park!
