Please join us in congratulating this year's recipients of the Scot Heery  Scholarship. This award is given to three outstanding senior Radiation Sciences applicants whose work ethic and commitment to quality patient care most closely align with the values and character that Scot Heery portrayed in his distinguished career.  In alphabetical order they are:

  • Andrew Beckler – Radiologic Technology
  • Ava Neumann - Radiologic Technology/CVI
  • Emily Russell – Radiation Therapy

The funding of these $5000 awards comes from a generous gift presented to the University of Iowa Center for Advancement in Scot’s name by an anonymous donor.  The Scholarship’s Selection Committee, comprised of 7 individuals, many of whom knew Scot well, received and reviewed applications from extremely qualified and deserving students, making the selection process a difficult one. Congratulations to all our recipients!
